Seed sprouting
Your own seed sprouts in a few days – no mould, no puddles on the worktop
Seed sprouts are more than just a garnish. Unlike microgreens, they're eaten whole – seed, root and leaves – and they're among the most concentrated sources of vitamins, minerals and antioxidants you can grow at home.
Most sprouting lids and sets on the market share the same three problems: seeds go mouldy in the damp, water splashes all over the kitchen when rinsing, and strainers are hard to clean or let small seeds slip through. That's exactly what we focused on when designing the strainer and bowl.

Details that make the difference
Choose the lid or the complete set
Seed-sprouting lid

Strainer and bowl. Screw it onto your own canning jar (80 mm screw thread) and start sprouting. The quickest and most affordable way to start.
Seed-sprouting set with sleeve

A complete solution including a glass jar (770 ml) and a light-blocking sleeve made from recycled fabrics.
Zatemňovací návlek – detail navíc

Light-blocking sleeve – an extra detail Sewn from leftover fabrics by the social enterprise FOVY in the Vysočina region. No two pieces are exactly alike. The sleeve shades the seed sprouts if you want to grow them in the dark – in the dark, the plant doesn't produce chlorophyll, so the seed sprouts are lighter in colour, more tender and milder in flavour. Available in the set or separately.
What you can sprout
Seed sprouts on your table in 3–6 days
Add about 2 tablespoons of seeds to the jar and fill it to about halfway with water.
Screw the strainer onto the jar and allow the seeds to soak for roughly 8 hours.
Pour the water out through the strainer, invert the jar, set it on the bowl and allow the excess water to drain off.
Repeat twice a day – fill with water, drain, set back on the bowl.
After 3–6 days, the seed sprouts are ready. Enjoy them right away, or store them in the fridge for up to 2–3 days.

Seed sprouting is for anyone who…

loves fresh food and wants vitamins at hand without growing a garden bed
belongs to the zero-waste community – sprouting in your own jar is packaging-free and self-sufficient
is looking for a fun, educational activity for the whole family – with results in a few days
has been disappointed by traditional sprouting in a jar with gauze or a metal or plastic strainer – mould, puddles or seeds slipping through
Created by a designer, made in Vysočina
The seed-sprouting lid and set were designed by Ladislav Škoda – the designer behind the Harvesting basket and the whole range of REcap cups. You'll find the same attention to detail here: a solution based on what really bothers people about sprouting, not on what looks good in a photo.
The light-blocking sleeve is sewn by the social enterprise FOVY, just a short distance from our production site, from fabrics that would otherwise end up as waste.
Made in Nové Veselí in the Vysočina region.
